Remiss

Over the past several weeks, quite a bit has gone on with our fellow bloggers. Sadly, I have been so busy I have been remiss in my duties and congratulations. So let's start with Duane and Bernadette. YAY! They traveled a very long road and are finally parents to twins Scarlett and Hayden. Bernadette has been a trooper and definitely get's the super mom of the year award for her tireless patience and vigil in India. We hope to see her and the babies home soon safe and sound so they can depart on the next leg of their journey of being parents.

Prior to Bernadette and Duane there was also Tony and Mike with the birth of their daughter Zoey. A huge congratulations to them as well and don't worry...Zoey will eventually go to sleep. Of course, you will have gained several bags under your eyes until then but nothing a little cover-up won't hide ;P

Jason and Adrian welcomed their daughters, Clara and Olivia, into the world as well. I have been communicating with Jason off and on for over a year now vial e-mail. Seems like forever, we couldn't be happier for them! Now the real fun starts. Jason was terrified at the thought of twins...don't worry, you'll both be too busy to be scared.

And the most recent addition to our blogging family is Doug and Bill's new daughter Christina Lei! I have a special gift for you guys and I will mail it out as soon as I can find those magical minutes of free time that has just about disappeared when we became daddies! Doug and Bill hold a special place in my heart simply by virtue that they are from my home State. Mike B. and I hope to travel back to Hawaii one day, when the thought of a very long flight with our two girls doesn't scare the crap out of us, and get to meet them.

WHEW! So many babies into the world all to people who were bound and determined to make their family dreams come true. For these people, and for many of our blogging family who are pregnant and expecting soon, congratulations!

I was just clearing my weekend Google Reader when I saw a post from you. Stop blogging on the weekend when I'm not paying attention!
Here's to all of those great Families and their beautiful children. I couldn't be happier for them.

Thanks for your note of congratulations, you guys. Seriously, no gifts...just the thought that you are celebrating with us is good enough! Bigs hugs and lots of aloha to you and your family. Now go figure out how to get your butts to Hawaii! LOL

Thanks for the award!!! Btw, our gorgeous artwork is hanging in the hallway leading the babies' room. I'll be posting a picture this week. Duane says it look fantastic!

Thanks, Mike! But I've told you before, you guys really blazed the trail for the rest of us who came afterward. You were also one of the first people I talked to about the mad-yet-not-so-scary-after-all journey that we're all making. Thanks for your path-finding.

Wow....! Where do I begin? I am in tears reading through your blog for the very first time. I am so grateful I found your blog. My partner and I are at the very beginning process of this very same thing and we are already overwhelmed by the process.
I can't stop crying while I read this (I don't what is happening to me?)...tears of absolute joy for you and all your friends on here and tears of what I hope will be our similar experiences if all goes to plan.
Thank you, thank you for this! Man, I'm a wreck already and we haven't even started!
