So with great fanfare, and making Daddy stop the dishes so he could properly praise and admire Eva's triumphant deed, we celebrated Eva's proud moment with a roaring flush. So now, we must keep up the encouragement and hope miss Rose follows her sisters lead toute suite.
All-in-all, a good weekend! From our beach visit Saturday to the triumph of Eva this evening, a good week. Who new pooping in the potty would be such a momentous event! Binkies gone...CHECK. Diapers gone...we're getting there!

That is big news! Now she is using the big-girl potty like her Daddies.
Seriously though, that is great news and although I love little babies, they are hard work and I'm glad all of that is behind me. But, I am still remining my kids to actually flush the toilet. Pre-teen kid's poop isn't as cute as 2 year old's poop. And it comes with no applause. m.
tee hee hee. There is a family story where I supposedly did something similar while being bathed with my sister, and legend has it that I played with doo doo and said, "Submarine, submarine". Toby has recently become very interested in toilets. He likes to play with the lid and has been caught with his hands down the toilet bowl. A flush is just so exciting!!!!
oops, that was Meg
